Beauty Contests in the World

Image
Miss Beautiful Well in the world almost all the country participates in the Miss Universe. These are beauty contests really, the most beautiful women in the whole world is announced as Miss Universe. Sadly you can only be Miss Universe for one time of your life and that’s a year. There’s Miss City, then promotion to Miss Province, then promoted to Miss Country and later the Universe. Wait, Is there a Miss World? So we literally skip poor old planet earth, poor old solar system, poor old galaxy (Milky Way) and jump to Mr Universe. The first problem I have with this contest. Well why it is named Miss Universe? I mean we haven’t been able to visit Pluto yet, how can we even conclude that the winner is might as well the prettiest in the Universe. Like what if Pluto has some radical babes or planet XXX? My most big complaint is who in the world has the audacity and privilege to name someone the prettiest lady in the world. That this individual “knows” what every guy is into

Simple Cost Efficient Phenomenon

Having money can also be blinding. I mean when you go to KFC, and you have R100 and a sandwich is R30 and R10 for cold drink. Now you buy those named products. I don’t know if it’s just me, but Chicken Liken taste the same as KFC (and remarkably cheaper). Why not buy at Chicken Liken to have more change from the R100? Restaurants do one of the best mind games and personally I call it the “The Cold drink scuffle”. You buy a 300ml of coke at KFC, but it finished fast? You’ve been robbed. That wasn’t 300ml of coke, but only 25% of coke and the rest is melted water or ice. Why? “I didn’t order ice though!” No one does and they bring it you anyways, why would you complain about ice on a hot day? On a date? With your kids? You won’t. Remember Physics, there something called Buoyancy’s force and restaurants use that for all their cold drinks. It simply says when you put an object in the water, the water level rises. Certain small things we don’t realise and if we don’t realise that, imagi

Pregnancy Issues in South Africa

14 AND PREGNANT. HOW SHOULD I HANDLE SCHOOL I got the question of my title from the website called Quora. I believe this is an important question every child at teenage age should ask. The youth never consider consequences. Look I’m not commenting on the sex issue (If you can’t destroy the castle from the outside, then destroy it from the inside), I’m commenting on the fact of precautions that should have been taken. We live in a day and age where prevention of having a child is everywhere (condom, contraceptive and even birth control). So there is always an increase in teenage pregnancies, I mean it’s not even news anymore. There is even a reality show we call “pregnant at 16” if I’m not wrong. This is now a South African situation now. Research has it that unwanted teenage pregnancies result to criminal activities and substance abuse increase (another topic for another day, but believe it’s a fact). Not just the result of crime but the fact that in South Africa we have a sayin

Democracy translated wrong in SA

Image
So you know how in America when your practically in the majority group your in the highest ranks. Which I believe that. I mean if your country really has democracy there should be majority and minority groups (the majority should be calling the shots). Well this talk is about how South Africa doesn't have any of that. South Arica is filled with a black majority government but yet has more poverty and social issues with blacks. Why is that? EVEN THOUGH THE BLACKS ARE THE MAJORITY. Well let's look at the numbers, since numbers don't lie. Blacks are majority by 80.2% (what would you expect from a country that has Africa on it). Coloureds take the stage with 8.8% Whites with 8.4% Asians with 2.5% Now I believe in democracy. Democracy means a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. Other words what the majority of the people want, the majority gets. Look America has problems, b
