College application is the process by which individuals apply to gain entry into a college or university. Although specific details vary by country and institution, applications generally require basic background information of the applicant, such as family background, and academic or qualifying exam details such as grade point average in secondary school and standardized testing scores.

I want to take some time and help assist matric’s get away around the internet. I think the application to university and college might be the hardest activity we all have to do. The stress of the process and the pressure is high. Well the process is very smooth if you’re in rich and smart.

I feel we need to help one another.

Before we need get to the hard on process, I know some of my readers only want to enter to the best universities of the country. That issue is not an issue and perhaps it is something we should look at before. Due to students just entering university for the sake of pursuing their dreams they neglect the fact their university might be disrespected in the academic world and perhaps in the business world as well. I can make the example; I prefer my doctors from Sefako Magaktho University and University of Prectoria.

 Okay lets get to the almost real deal. I want to hit the university requirement talk. I mean most individuals that apply have the question "how much is the requirements for ....". Let me explain something: the requirements for the universities are different. For example UNISA Bcom Accounting is probably 21, whilst requirements at UP for BCOM Accounting 35 and both exclude LO. Oh note this majority of the universities do not allow LO to be in the APS count, so you may have to exclude it when you do your APS count.

Before we go to seeing the universities requirements, lets revise or look at the the APS count.

Keep in mind that majority of the university usually keep Life Orientation as ZERO.

Keep in mind if you are a current matric student you apply with your grade 11 final marks and not with your matric first term marks. This advice is for students who wish to apply to a public universities, I know some private universities will allow you to apply with your first term marks.

I wish everybody who applies luck. Keep in mind if you do not get in for the acdemic year semester one, most universities allow second semester application.

Try to get all your documents in contact. Like:
- Identity Document
- Academic transcript
- Sometimes declaration letter (which you find on the website) that your parents have to sign
- Parents Identity Document, sometimes
- High School Result (all of them or just the required ones, they will indicate the one's they want)
- Proof of payement of application fee (if the university has)

Apply to some bursaries like NSFAS and other business

 :-) And apply at the university of your dream, even if you don't meet the requirement, they'' humbly regect you and you can do a come back with your NSC.
Apply also to the course in which you meet the requirements, to ensure you will somewhere the next year if your aim is just to be in university.
